When Charlie sold his share of another company he co-founded to his partner, he then returned to work for himself in 1992 with his original company formerly Aachen Oppermann Company which he started in 1949.     Charlie and I established Affordable Brick Restoration in 1999 after I completed a five year internship under Charlie's direct supervision I had worked off Charlie's half of Affordable Brick Restoration, and was an independent contractor overseeing the operations of Charlie's company formerly Aachen Oppermann Company for the remainder of Charlie's life.     After Charlie past he wanted to leave his company to the person he felt best represented his ideals and values for the future his company formerly Aachen Oppermann Company.With this came the understanding that I alone lived up to Charlie's exacting standards of quality, integrity, and honesty to carry on with his company, his reputation, and his blessing.     Charlie started offering real estate services in Houston in 1949 and from the beginning he had one model for business, it was a one man show with helpers. Not much has changed over the years except the helpers and now the one man. Each and every project is evaluated by me, estimated by me, and preformed by me and my family keeping with the model Charlie established.     Following his established procedures, along with the guidelines from an engineering education at HCC and with an apprenticeship in the preservation and restoration of historical stone masonry I received in Europe, I can guarantee a completed project that meets every expectation.
